She came to live and work with us in ministry in Venezuela at the Jiraquito Campground for almost 2 years. God used her talents as a music teacher to form a small ministry to children in a village nearby. We soon learned that God had blessed her with many talents as she helped our girls with schooling and became a great friend and big sister to them.
.
Shortly after those two years, we moved to Ecuador and Jen joined our ministry there. She spent the next 11 years using her many talents to minister to the people of Ecuador as a volunteer missionary.
It has been such a joy to watch her mature into a godly, wife, mother and beautiful Christian woman.
God gave us a wonderful opportunity last month to work alongside them one last time with a Work and Witness team before calling them to Peru.
It is hard when you work alongside with someone for so long to let go but oh, the joy of knowing they are following God's leading and they are fully equipped for what he is calling them to do. It also brings back memories of when God first called us as we watch them go through the mixed emotions that come with new beginnings in an unknown place and ministry. There is so much more to her and her family's story that you need to hear.
We are so proud of this wonderful family and know that God is just beginning to show them what is ahead for them. Our prayers are with you daily in this process. Many blessings Jen, Harrison, and sweet Lizbeth, you will be greatly missed.
